Books & Materials
Our Goal:
To provide needed school books, pencils, and supplies to ensure students are prepared for school and equipped to learn
To equip teachers and schools with the necessary instructional materials and resources needed to deliver effective lessons
To provide entry level English reading and interactive books that students can call their own and read daily. English is the official language of Uganda yet many children speak in a local dialect and do not have the opportunity to learn English until they are in school.
To increase basic reading skills and literacy amongst the students we work with and support in rural Uganda.
The Students & The Schools:
Since 2012, TKF has worked to provide needed books and materials to primary and secondary students in rural Uganda. In addition, we've provided entry level English and Spanish language books to a pre-kindergarten school on the Chilean and Bolivan border.
